picnic Details:
GREAT NEWS!!! If you've found our obscure website, you've been invited to come celebrate our recent wedding with us! We officially got married in a small ceremony on June 29. With that part out of the way, we want to PARTY with you! We're hoping you'll join us for a weekend in Tahoe, and a picnic!

Picnic is from 1:00-5:00pm, tacos, drinks, swimming, yard games, and difficult parking! Please read all details below for more info. Updates have been added!

Alpine Springs Community Park:

This is a private community park, there will be a gate you'll need a key to enter or to be let in by someone inside. Smile and wave, and somebody will let you in!
There is a pond for swimming; bring suits and towels if you'd like! We'll be set up for the picnic on the grassy area near the front gate. **NO DOGS ALLOWED**
PSA: parking is limited!
Please, carpool if possible

From Highway 89, head up Alpine Meadows Rd

1/4 mile up, on the righthand side is a gravel path to the park entrance, there is a small parking area for the picnic down this road (see photo and aerial map)

You may also park along Alpine Meadows Rd; stay clear of the bike lane

DO NOT park below in Crest Cafe or River Ranch parking lots

Cars cannot be left overnight. Please have a designated driver!

BYOC: Bring your own chair!
This request is aimed at our local friends and families that have access to a camping chair (and maybe even an extra!) which they could easily bring to the park. We will have tags which you can label your chair with your name so it doesn't get mixed up with someone else's. It would mean a lot to us and we really appreciate all the help!
COVID TESTING:
We ask that our guests take an at-home covid test 48-72 hours before 9/10/2022. If you're feeling unwell we request you stay home for the health and safety of others. We are gathering our nearest and dearest friends and family, and want to do so in the safest manner possible. Thank you for your cooperation!

We're going to keep the party rolling and take it to the event space at Kitchen Collab in Truckee! Address: 11357 Deerfield Dr, Suite C, Truckee, CA 96161
Please join us there at 8pm for more fun and socializing. We'll have drinks and snacks in an indoor/outdoor setting; bring a warm jacket. Overflow parking will be at the SaveMart lot.
